Our performers' testimonials say it better than we ever could...
there's only one...I've known Patrick for several years now, first as a fellow musician, and then as a student of his. There's really no other way to say it, the man is a phenomenal vocal coach! His humility will not allow him to agree with that statement, but it's nonetheless true. The strength of his guidance, the depth of his knowledge, the joy for his students' accomplishments all come from the same place: his passion and love for the power of music and how it relates to the human experience. There are a lot of people out there who make a living giving voice lessons, but there's only one Patrick Cunningham. Once you start working with him, you'll discover how important a true "vocal coach" really is!

I would never have known…During my high school years I loved Choir. Each of the four years I pleaded with the instructor not to dismiss me from choir. He was polite; as polite and cordial as one can be I suppose in saying you don’t have what it takes to sing in the choir. I lived my adult life believing I could not sing, and ashamed to try, until I decided to face the failure of a thing I enjoyed, but was told I could not do. With very little courage, but just enough to get me through the door of AZ Music Project, I faced a microphone, and with Patrick as my coach, together we found a way to unlock and develop the singing voice in me. Today I sing and perform, which I would have never known I could if I hadn’t taken that first step placing me before the teaching talents and encouraging energy of Patrick.

incredibly fun...Before coming to Az Music Project, I remember feeling uneasy and hesitant about my vocal ability. Looking back, the progress I have made now is incredible, all thanks to Patrick. Working with him has improved not only my technique and performance, but my confidence. He encourages me to reach beyond what I think is possible and dig deep, all the while at a comfortable pace. I am so grateful for the opportunities I have received through Patrick and the instruments and tools that are available to strengthen myself as an artist. The environment at AZMP is incredibly fun and comfortable. I'll forever be thankful for Patrick and Bonnie for inspiring and guiding me through my passion!
